I met up with Eden and Matt for their engagement session in Golden Gate park a few days ago and I swear the heavens shined the most beautiful light on us that I could have ever asked for. Anyone that has been to SF knows that there is often quite a bit of cloud cover in the city. I always cross my fingers and hope for some light to shine though when I make my way out there. And it could not have come out for a sweeter couple! Eden and Matt are so easy to be around and a joy to photograph. They are loving and funny with one another and they make my job easy. I can hardly wait for their wedding at Leal Vineyards in May!!

Shannon and Erich ♥︎ Engaged
From the moment that Shannon and I first spoke, she kept saying "I feel like everything is just falling into place!! All my vendors just feel right!". I can't stress enough how important this is. Your wedding is such a special day, you want to surround yourself with people that make you feel calm and comfortable. That is another reason why engagement sessions are so awesome!! The three of us get a chance to chat, learn about each other and really get comfortable. Shannon, Erich and I had a lovely time during their engagement session, even though the wind did not seem to want to cooperate! They brought their adorable puppy and we walked around chatting and taking photos. When their wedding at the Westin in Sacramento rolls around next May, they will be pros :) I can hardly wait!

Marnie and Jack ♥︎ Engaged
I love these two! They are so funny, and so adorable together. They have known each other since high school, but it took some convincing by friends (years later) to go out on a date together. They both finally agreed and they have been together ever since. I am so excited to watch them tie the knot this November at the Monte Verde Inn in Foresthill. I know it is going to be amazing!
Em and Cheryl ♥︎ Engaged
I love getting to know my couples and the engagement session is the perfect opportunity!! Getting your photo taken can be a nerve wracking experience and watching how a couple interacts during that time. Em and Cheryl were sweet, playful, loving and kind to one another. They clearly compliment each other wonderfully and I can hardly wait to see them exchange vows surrounded by their family and friends at the Courtyard D'Oro in Old Sacramento this September!!
Holly and Mike ♥︎ Engaged
Family is one of the most important things to me. One of the best parts of getting married is extending your family and I got a great one when I married my husband. Holly is my husbands cousin, and my husbands family and Holly's family were very close growing up. When I found out Holly was engaged to her boyfriend Mike I was SO excited!! The cherry on top was Holly asking me to photograph her wedding. I was honored. The three of us got together for their engagement session and I soon found these two were gonna keep me on my toes!! They are so fun and goofy and laugh so much with one another. It is beautiful to behold and I can't wait to watch them become husband and wife in Tahoe later this year.
